Mutant Fighting Cup 2 is the sequel of the popular mobile game called Mutant Fighting Cup, which was also developed and released by game developer Ace Viral. After seeing their game become so popular, the developers at Ace Viral decided that it was time for an upgrade in the form of a sequel, which was then cleverly named Mutant Fighting Cup 2. Looking at the latest figures on Google Play Store and iOS App Store, Mutant Fighting Cup 2 is doing exceptionally well compared to its prequel, which means that the developers did an extraordinary job on this new 2018 game.

You can play Mutant Fighting Cup 2 on both Android and iOS devices, if your device meets the minimum requirements for the game. The game itself is free to download and play, already has over five hundred thousand downloads with a near-perfect rating of 4.5 out of 5 on Google Play Store and a perfect 5 out of 5 star rating on iOS App Store in 2018. Mutant Fighting Cup 2 is an excellent example of an action/fighting role playing game, and is well worth the try if you have the time.

About Mutant Fighting Cup 2

Before you are able to start playing Mutant Fighting Cup 2, you will first have to go through a tutorial that teaches you all the basics. You start your gameplay with a dog animal without any mutations applied to it. As I have mentioned above, Mutant Fighting Cup 2 is a turn based RPG, and it is all about battling against random animals and monsters that have been mutated.

During a battle, you will find your and your opponent’s health bar at the top-center of your screen. The small indicator in the health bar shows the amount of health points you have left. In order to inflict damage to your opponent, you will have to use one of your abilities. You can find all of your abilities at the bottom-left corner of your screen. In order to find out more about an ability, you can hold your finger over the ability itself. Once you are ready to attack, all you have to do is tap on the ability that you want to use. After you and your opponent attack each other, your abilities will be shuffled, which means that you might need to use a defensive move next.

The battle ends when either you or your opponent runs out of health points. If you manage to win a battle, you will be rewarded with currencies or genes. Once a new gene is available, you can tap on the genes button to mutate your animal. There are three types of genes in Mutant Fighting Cup 2; Attack, Defense and Support. To find out more about a gene, you can tap on it and read the description. If you want to apply a gene to your animal and mutate it, you can tap on the green mutate button, which is located at the bottom-right corner of your screen.

In order to start a battle, you will have to have enough energy points. At the main screen, you will find your energy bar at the top-left corner of your screen. In order to continue playing the game, you will have to wait for your points to get replenished at a rate of one per minute.

When you feel like you are ready to battle against an opponent, you can tap on the green play button, which is located at the bottom-right corner of your screen. This will take you to the map of the game, on which you can tap on the tournament that you would like to participate in. In a tournament, you will have to face several different opponents, starting from the weakest to the strongest of the bunch. If you manage to beat all of the opponents and the boss as well, you will be declared the winner of the tournament, earning a significant amount of in-game currencies.

Successfully winning a battle will also reward your animal with experience points. When you earn enough experience points, your animal will level up, increasing its attributes. All of the animals in Mutant Fighting Cup 2 have six attributes; Attack, Defense, Critical, Evasion, Heal, Life and Critical Attack. Naturally, the higher an animal’s attributes are, the more powerful it is.

Once your animal reaches level five, you will be able to participate in the PvP mode of the game. This allows you to pit your animal against the animals of random players around the world. All of your wins, loses and points will be noted down, so that you will be matched against an equal opponent. You can also check out the leaderboards to see who the best fighter in the world is.

Mutant Fighting Cup 2 In-game store

Successfully winning battles in Mutant Fighting Cup 2 will reward you with gold coins, which also happens to be the one and only currency of the game. You can also earn gold coins by accepting and completing different kinds of achievements. It is quite important in Mutant Fighting Cup 2 to have gold coins, because you need them to purchase different items in the in-game store.

There are three different categories in the Mutant Fighting Cup 2 in-game store; Buffs, Potions and Money. In the buffs category, you can purchase six different items for your animal, which will give you a huge advantage over your opponent during a battle. Most of the buffs make you more resilient against your opponents, or allow you to deal more damage to them. There is also a buff that poisons your opponent for three turns, inflicting damage against it over time.

In the potions category, you can purchase three very expensive potions. The reason why potions are very expensive compared to the buffs in Mutant Fighting Cup 2, is because the potions have a permanent effect in your gameplay. You can get an additional slot for your skills selection, and you can even increase the maximum amount of energy points that you have in your energy bar.

In the last category, you can purchase gold coins and resources with real money. You can buy a regular resource kit for $4.99 and a professional resource kit for $9.99. If you are in the need for gold coins, you can purchase 5000 of them for $2.99 or 12000 of them for $5.99. When you run out of energy points, you can immediately refill your energy bar for the price of $1.99. Next to the dog animal, you can also unlock and play as a cat animal, but you will have to pay $2.99.

Cheats & Tips for Mutant Fighting Cup 2

Mutant Fighting Cup 2 is a free-to-play mobile game that has an in-game store and an in-game currency, which is also the reason why it is so popular among scam artists. Those scam artists know that people will be searching for Mutant Fighting Cup 2 cheats, and they use this info to exploit unknowing and gullible people, such as children that are using their parents’ tablets or smartphones to play mobile games on. Most of those cheat websites that offer cheat tools are very identical to each other. They all have fake testimonials, guarantee logos and numerous ads.

It is always a challenge to find the correct download button on such websites, simply because all but one of those download buttons are hidden advertisements. After finding the correct button, you will be redirected to a shady looking download website, on which you are required to fill in a quick survey. If you do not fill in a survey, your download will never start. For the sake of this review, I decided to fill in a survey and download the so called Mutant Fighting Cup 2 cheat tool, only to find out that I have been duped, because the cheat tool is nothing but an empty shell.

Mutant Fighting Cup 2 Gameplay Tips and Tricks

In order to play Mutant Fighting Cup 2, your smartphone or tablet does not need access to an internet connection, which means that it is quite easy to use the time-lapse trick in this game. Many people are still unfamiliar with the time-lapse cheat, and still spend a lot of money on energy points or lives in free-to-play mobile games. In free-to-play mobile games that do not require access to an internet connection, you can easily bypass the energy and life systems.

When you run out of energy points in Mutant Fighting Cup 2, all you have to do is close down the game and turn off your internet connection. After you have done that, you need to find the date and time settings on your smartphone or tablet, and forward the time by an hour or two. When you start Mutant Fighting Cup 2 now, you will immediately notice that your energy bar is fully regenerated again, due to the fact that the game checks the time on your mobile device.

Playing Mutant Fighting Cup 2 without an internet connection does have one con, which is that you will not be able to participate in any of the online features of the game, such as the player-vs-player mode. Multiplayer game modes are only accessible with an internet connection.

Mutant Fighting Cup 2 Review

I never heard about the Mutant Fighting Cup series before I came across an article that mentioned both of the games in a very positive light. Because Mutant Fighting Cup 2 had a better rating on both app markets, I decided to give the game a try and see what the game was all about. I normally enjoy playing RPGs, and Mutant Fighting Cup 2 definitely one of those games where you can sink your teeth into. The gameplay in Mutant Fighting Cup 2 is one of the most original ones I have ever experienced, which says a lot about the developers of the game.

The amount of mutations that are available in Mutant Fighting Cup 2 is astonishing. According to the game’s description, there are a million different kinds of mutations available in the game, all because there are so many different genes that you can use to evolve your animal. I find very shocking that the developers implemented so many different animal designs into the game, and I know that it must have taken so much time and effort to come up with all those designs. In my opinion, Mutant Fighting Cup 2 is a game that must be played by any RPG enthusiast.

There are not many negative aspects in Mutant Fighting Cup 2, which is also the reason why the game is rated so highly on Google Play Store and iOS App Store. The one negative aspect that I experienced during my gameplay is the annoying energy bar that has been implemented by the developers. The energy bar limits the amount of time that you can play Mutant Fighting Cup 2 in one sitting, which is exactly why it has been implemented in the first place. The developers are hoping that you will spend real money on in-game energy points, which is unacceptable. No one is waiting to spend money on a free-to-play mobile game, just to be able to continue playing it.

Another negative aspect that I want to mention is that it feels like the developers are only out to earn money through Mutant Fighting Cup 2. The reason why I believe this is because the items in the in-game store are very expensive to purchase with in-game currencies. This leads me to believe that the developers want the players to spend money on gold coin packages, just so that they could have an advantage over other players. This also makes Mutant Fighting Cup 2 a pay-to-win game, which significantly reduces the quality of the gameplay and has a negative impact.

Mutant Fighting Cup 2 Ratings

Artwork: I give Mutant Fighting Cup 2 an 8/10 for its artwork. Mutant Fighting Cup 2 has great artwork and animations, perfectly fitting the roleplaying theme of the game. It is incredible that the developers have implemented over a million different kinds of mutation designs into the game. It really shows that the developers were dedicated to create a unique RPG experience.

Music & SFX: I give Mutant Fighting Cup 2 a 7/10 for its music and SFX. There are a couple of music tracks and multiple different sound effects in Mutant Fighting Cup 2, and all of them fit the roleplaying theme of the game as well. In order to increase the quality of the game, the developers could perhaps implement a variation in music into the game, because right now, it feels like you have to listen to the same soundtracks all the time, which can be quite annoying.

Story & Originality: I give Mutant Fighting Cup 2 a 9/10 for its story and originality. It is quite extraordinary to find a unique and original mobile game, especially when most developers tend to just copy game ideas and mechanics from each other. Not only does Mutant Fighting Cup 2 have a quite unique gameplay, it also has several features that I have never seen before in any other free-to-play mobile game. On top of that, the developers have implemented over a million different animal mutations into the game, which means that a lot of time went into developing this game, which is also something you do not see very often nowadays.

General Gameplay: I give Mutant Fighting Cup 2 a 7/10 for general gameplay. It is nice that the developers have added a tutorial at the beginning of Mutant Fighting Cup 2, especially because there are a lot of unique features in the game, which can be quite confusing for casual gamers. After learning the basics, you can start participating in tournaments and PvP battles. I think that the gameplay remains entertaining, even after spending much time in the game. The reason for this is because there are multiple different game modes available, both online and offline. There is also the element of surprise in Mutant Fighting Cup 2, because you do not know what your animal will mutate into.

Addictiveness: I give Mutant Fighting Cup 2 a 6/10 for addictiveness. I have already mentioned that Mutant Fighting Cup 2 has a playtime limitation system in it, which is in the form of an energy bar. Because of that energy bar, you simply cannot play Mutant Fighting Cup 2 as much as you would like, which also significantly reduces the addictiveness of the game. The game would be much more addictive if the developers would remove the energy bar system.
